Comments:Debt collectors, collections agencies,Post the history with credit bureaus. No matter how inaccurate it is,No matter how many times some one send them proofs, bills etc .credit reporting agencies keep reporting it and keep sending the results as verified. If a consumer take the collection agency to court the costs are more and also time consuming and its only $1000 penalty for violation.(1)the penelty should be @10000 for each violation /per fdcpa and fcra violations. these days collection agencies are not abiding by any laws using different threatening tactics towards consumers.FTC is not clear about consumer protection looking at the FCRA .Credit reporting agencies like experian, transunion.equifax make their money from collection agencies no matter how many proofs and how many years one should send them they will not correct a listing unless the collection agency get the three times more money by black mailing consumer then they ok the credit reporting agencies to correct or remove and it happens in minutes.Collection agencies use them as harassment tools and innocent citizens can not stop financial bleeding.
