In my 40 years of experience i found as a collector with agency's or a Supervisor with law firms; their daily concerns were more focus on their overhead than properly training their inexperience collectors. I find if the collector is properly trained on a daily basis from start to finish ( knowledgeable of the FDCPA - the initial demand letter - to the close of the file)each company would experience a more robust financial future; with less non-compliance violations. Some in the industry lack proper daily training of their newly hired staff members. They feel it's to expensive to properly & consistently train their staff members. These firms refuse to pay top pay for top gun collectors or paralegals; why? because of their overhead.
