Dear FTC, Please do allow debt collectors to further harass grieving family members. Please strengthen the rules against them bothering family members of deceased debtors When my great aunt passed away we were harassed and harassed by NCO. They would not stop until I sent them a certified letter asking them to stop. They then sold the account to another collector who continued being abusive.
