We believe that Facebook and other social network sites should not be permitted to require users to input their dates of birth. They should have more rigorous testing of whether a user is of age, but requiring a new user to input his/her date of birth makes it easier for hackers and identity thieves to steal this information from the social network's users. At the very least, Facebook should not be permitted to share anyone's date of birth with a third-party platform application. Thank you.
