I believe that the consumers should be able to get a free anual credit report. Afterall it is information pertaining to them and that way the people will know exaclty what if any discrepancies or inquiries are being made about them. To many life changing decisions are being made based on credit histories and scores and since so much emphasis is being put on that by not only creditors, but employers and insurance companies now it's only fair.
