I would like for the FTC to make the Free Annual File Disclosures avaliable now (or as soon as possible) for those on the East Coast, and not wait until September 2005 as proposed. I believe telling the three credit reporting agencies to comply with this deadline and implementing it will take far less time than a year plus as proposed. I also wanted to address the issue of requesting the credit reports. I would like to be able to request one report a year from EACH agency, at ANY time during the calendar year. Under the proposed guidelines when I request my credit report all THREE will come at once. Being able to order one from each bureau during the year will help me protect myself from Identity Theft and ensure my information is accurate and correct three times during the year instead of just once. This added protection to my credit will be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much for considering my comments.
