This regulation is a good change for the consumer. Empowering the consumer to check every aspect of records kept pertaining to the individual, or individuals that a citizen is a legal guardian of, can only benefit. A next logic step is a formal appeals process, with time frame specifics for due process of amending the information on a credit report if incorrect.
