Please consider the information in the attached letter when making final decisions on the new ruling concerning the signage required for state chartered, privately insured credit unions doing shared branching transactions. As a relatively small credit union, Buckeye State Credit Union already bears the burden of regulatory insurance disclosure requirements. In this situation, we feel that we adequately disclose our insurance status to our membership for every transaction done at the credit union, plus signage displays in all of our offices attesting to our insurance coverage, and at the opening of all accounts. Thank you for your consideration in this matter.
