I am writing as a parent and educator, in favor of restrictions that would limit advertising to young children. Children should not be expected to understand the difference between fact and opinion, particularly when it comes to interpreting messages that are engineered specifically to peak their interest and sway their opinions. In an ideal world, we would not need to put such restrictions in place. Parents would strictly limit television exposure and organizations would have the decency not to exploit our youth. But unfortunately, this is not an ideal world. Please continue your efforts. Hopefully they will inspire advertising that is more fair and products which are more wholesome.
