Just to be clear here. I DO NOT SUPPORT this new attempt by our over reaching Government to control what we freely do in our lives. What we choose to eat or not to eat is entirely under OUR control, not the Government! Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness is not to be found in these proposed rules.
Anyone that thinks these proposed new Regulations will achieve their stated goal needs their heads examined. The only thing Regulations are sure to do is increase the costs of doing business, which everyone should know by now is passed on to the end consumer. That would be you and me! Just call it what it is, yet another hidden tax, courtesy of the Fed's!
Our local, state and federal governments need to butt out in their attempts to control our lives. They can not control what we eat directly so they make this oh so obvious attempt to increase the cost of the "products" the goons at the Center for Science in the Public Interest (CSPI) deem too dangerous for us eat.
Who appointed them the keepers of "The Public Interest" anyway? I read that the "Center" is just 2 guys. "Science" - my rear end! "Public Interest" - Progressive Interest would be closer to the truth! CSPI has a history of being proven wrong in their proclamations from on high and shame on our illustrious leaders for listening to their clap trap.
I've been reading through the "posted" comments and found a common theme running through most of them on the supporters side. Liberal talking point number 6 - "Do it for the children!" The lib's catch all phrase to justify their liberty snatching ways. How about all of you supporters of this measure take responsibility for raising your kids and only your kids, instead of trying to get the Government do it for you.
You supporters act like the "Evil Food Industry" is forcing you to buy junk food to feed your kids. Get real! They eat - what you buy! Are your really telling us that the advertisements have brain washed your feeble minds into buying "junk food" for your kids to eat? Hey, I can almost believe that.
