I think these proposals go to far and will hurt many companies without actually have much affect on chilhood obesity. The children are not the ones doing most of the shopping-its the parents.
Perhaps a better way to go would be to try and find a way to make healthier foods more affordable- maybe tax breaks for companies meeting certain nutritional goals or maybe subsidies on fruits,vegatables etc...
Cheap imported cookies and such costs way less than a pound of oranges or apples
