Comments:I support additional regulations on credit bureau advertising to clarify their distinction from the official central source for free credit reports. I also agree with Michelle Singletary's article in the 10/11/09 Washington Post and believe that the official source site, AnnualCreditReport.com, should be free from all credit bureau advertising. The process of getting a free credit report via the official central source should be completely free of all advertising or marketing by the credit bureaus.
