I believe the Federal Government should NOT permit any advertisements about credit reports on "official" federal websites. Websites run by the government should not allow charlatans (read snake-oil sales-persons) to confuse/distract/redirect citizens from understanding their credit and obtaining accurate information about their credit report. I hope my government would try to help me to understand my role in the economy without throwing me under the bus of financial interests. Sincerely.
