i support your efforts to protect the consumer on receiving a free credit report. today with all the misleading advertising for a free report you are directed to pay sites. you should eliminate any links to these pay sites to ensure that the consumer is not confused or duped by these sites. All media ads should clearly stated that the so called free report carries charges. you should be able to have a direct link to free credit report and not have any confusing language or links prior to receiving the free report. since the credit score is so important to your credit report, it should also be free on an annual basis. we need to remove the ability of the credit reporting companies to profit from the consumer for this necessary information. thank you, charles rusinak
