My experiences with seeking to obtain free credit reports on line have yet to be successful after frustrated efforts over several years to comply with adversely complicated instructions. I agree: (1) AnnualCreditReport.com should be commercial-free, (2) advertising or marketing for credit bureau products or services through AnnualCreditReport.com should be delayed at least until after us consumers have obtained our free reports, (3) credit bureaus should not have hyperlinks to their specific Web sites from AnnualCreditReport.com until after each bureau has delivered its free report, and (4) credit bureaus should prominently inform us consumers when we have not landed on the official free-report site.
