|Rule:||16 CFR Part 610 Amendments to Rule to Prevent Deceptive Marketing of Credit Reports and to Ensure Access to Free Annual File Disclosures|
Comments:annualcreditreport.com should be completely commercial-free. There should be no advertising or marketing by the credit bureaus before, during or after the process of getting the free credit reports. This would help eliminate the possibility of identity theft and mistakes through accidentally entering commercial sites. The amendments that would inform people that they have arrived somewhere other than the free credit report site could be required for all those companies just as a part of their regular business - but they still should not have access to the main site.
