Comments:I read Michelle Singletary's column about this proposal and agree that advertising and marketing while obtaining the free credit report should be limited. We should not have to jump through hoops to reach our free annual reports. I have learned to ignore extraneous advertising material, but most people don't know how to do so, or it distracts them from their purpose of learning what is in their report. I did not want to print my report when I obtained my first one from TransUnion, but they made it very difficult to save it in a readable electronic form. In fact, what I saved is not at all easily readable. So I'd like to add that the reports should be capable of being saved legibly to a Word, WordPerfect, spreadsheet, or even a .PDF form. I no longer need to have absolutely everything on paper. Thank you.
