A primary function of the FTC is to protect consumers...so protect them. Don't allow advertisers (essentially "slammers") to confuse, mislead, or even worsen the situations of U.S. consumers. To have these advertisers utilize an internet site which was created in response to consumer protection and information laws, is the height of hypocrisy. So fix it--stop all advertising before, during, and after accessing www.annualcreditreport.com.
