I ordered my free credit report from freecreditreport.com and lo and behold I was charged a fee of $16+ dollars for a year's credit reports. There was nothing to indicated I needed to check a box to continue receiving these reports and i failed to notice the disclaimer that indicated that "if you did nothing you would be charged a monthly fee." I initially contacted the company and was told they would cancel my account, but I would not receive the credit of $16. I sent an email expressing my outrage at this ripoff I received a credit refund.
