I too made the mistake of going to 'Free Credit Report.com' and didn't opt out in the 14 or so days and was charged. After seeing the charge on my credit card statement, I called and had it cancelled. Now, I use annualcreditreport.com but was confused on the website as there were still ads for experian, etc. I don't think they should be advertising on the governement site.
