Comments:I signed up for the "free credit report .com". I don't check my emails frequently and the agency had emailed me telling me I had 9 days to cancel. Well I canceled asap and on the very same day they charged me $14.95 automatically on my credit card. I didn't even get a chance to look at my report. I had signed up for it because I had received a letter notifying me of a class action case against credit reportng agencies during the time I had filed for bankruptcy. I did recall having something on my report that I did try to dispute but was unable to get it removed so I wanted to look at my credit report. I was one single day too late to cancel and they slapped the $14.95 on my credit card the very same day I canceled so they should have at least given me another month since I paid for it. What a shame in this economy to trick people that way. Something should be done about them. This $14.95 may put some unsuspecting sole over the limit on their credit card. I know when I was charged the fee I was close to my limit and had to hurry and make a payment.
