Comments:I have requested the free credit report required by law to be provided to me from each of Equifax and TransUnion. In each case, the companies refused to provide the report and demanded "proof of identity" and "proof of mailing address". In each case, the companies used that fraudulent failure to provide the mandatory free credit report as a sales device for suggesting that I BUY FROM THEM a fraudulent and abusive "credit score" report. In both cases, when I provided them with copies of my drivers license (with correct mailing address on it) and social security card, the companies continued to refuse to provide the mandatory credit reports. They claimed that the information I provided did not match the fraudulent and abusive "information" that they have been reporting to their customers "as if" it related to me devoid of allowing me the mandatory opportunity to review that which they have been fraudulently disseminating. Despite a notice of "Initial Fraud Alert" generated by the abusive Equifax and responded to by recognition only by TransUnion, Experian did not even acknowledge having received notice of that Equifax generated "Initial Fraud Alert" (not requested by me but generated by their own internal systems). The entire system of "credit reporting services" has demonstrated itself to be grossly in violation of the mandatory legal requirement of providing copies of the information that they are disseminating to the persons fraudulently abused by their intentionally erroneous records. Under the circumstances, it is no doubt that many victims of the illegal refusals of the so called "credit reporting" companies have been lured into criminally fraudulent systems such as the proposed regulation is intended to address. However, despite my filing a complaint with the FTC against both of the wrongful refusers to provide the mandatory free copy, there has been no relevant communication from either of them which demonstrates that they are continuing to disseminate false and fraudulent information about me while refusing to provide to me any copy of that information so that I can challenge the falsehoods and fraudulent reporting that they are doing. The problem is far worse than the mere predators on the victims of the fraudulent and abusive "credit reporting" companies. It originates in the "credit reporting agencies" themselves.
