In the proposed changes for section 205 of the Credit Card Act of 2009, the ability as a consumer to access "free credit reports" has been inaccessable to many due to their misunderstanding of the sites. As a consumer when you go onto one of the sites they try to promote their service which in some circumstances individuals think they have to pay for the free credit report to gain more information. So when you are dealing with the older individuals they feel they have to put rdit card infornmation and do not relize this will charge their cards on amonthly basis. I think that all advertisong should be banned to make it easier for the public to access their information.
