Submission Text
I believe consumers should have some way of evaluating what they are using. The organic certification should mean something and the consumer should be able to trust the organic seal. I believe businesses who use the word organic but are not certified are deliberately trying to deceive the consumer and the practice should stop. While I do not want to overburden businesses with unnecessary red tape, I believe full disclosure of ingredients, in both food and any product used on the human body, is the only right way to treat consumers. While some individuals do not care what they put in and on their bodies, those of us who do should have the data readily available to make an informed decision.
