As a consumer of cosmetics and body care products I am willing to pay a higher price for quality products. The quality most important to me is that it is organic. I was surprised to learn that the word 'organic' on a label means very little. I, and I'm sure, very many other consumers assumed there was a standard similar to that used on food products. I believe I have a right to know what I am buying and should not be mislead with inaccurate claims. Although I do, it is time consuming to read all the ingredient labels and because the word 'natural' doesn't have any standard definition, I never really know what I am getting. It is only reasonable to require the same standards in labeling for cosmetic and body care products as their is for food.
