Comments:
UV light, whether from the sun or a tanning bed, is beneficial to human health. By placing restrictions on the tanning industry you are in affect harming the public. Scientific studies and research have shown both the many benefits of exposure to UV light (from both sources) as well as the harm from lack of exposure. If UV light were truly as bad as some industries' experts claim the human race would of been extinct long ago. If you were to remove the monetary motivation from these industries (cosmetic, dermatology, pharmacutical) they would soon drop their attacks. The tanning industry should be held accountable for public education in how to tan in moderation and the proper procedures to follow to protect from over-exposure.
