Comments:
Platinum means pure to consumers. Adulterating the metal will only lead to deceptive practices to the consumer. There are many white metals available to the jewelry consumer today at many price points, starting with sterling silver, 10 karat white gold, and palladium. Any of these metals may be rhodium plated for a very white finish. I fear that those interested in selling adulterated platinum are just trying to confuse and deceive the consumer. We are a US manufacturer of fine jewelry in platinum and 18 karat gold, in business since 1866. My customers would not accept an inferior product such as adulterated platinum, even if it is legal. We sell white gold to customers who want a more affordable white option. Thank you, Richard Krementz III, CG, FGA, CPIM President RKG1866, LLL Richard Krementz Gemstones...since 1866
