Comments:With regard to Jewelry guidelines Matter No g711001... It is very important to note that many people are allergic to different types of metals. These are normally not the precious metals, but the alloys used to mix with them. Those people often use Platinum as it does not contain other metals and they do not have adverse reactions to wearing wedding bands made of Platinum. If it is allowed to call mixes of metals Platinum, it will be very detrimental to the many people who have this problem. Platinum is known to be pure and should stay as such. I write this from a 105 year old firm serving the public's jewelry needs. Thanks for the opportunity to explain this...
