Comments:Kellogg's should be fined for causing enormous harm by falsely advertising health benefits for a toxic food product. Uncovering Kellogg's lies about Frosted Mini Wheats has helped expose how processed wheat foods are less likely to ''improve kids' attentiveness'' and more likely to cause chronic fatigue, celiac disease, wheat addiction, endometriosis and even cancer. Human beings have been in existence for over 2 million years, but only developed agriculture in the last 10,000 or so years. As a result, humans have not had enough time to adapt to eating agrarian products like wheat and EATING WHEAT LEADS TO NUMEROUS HEALTH PROBLEMS. ....1) CHRONIC FATIGUE:..'The protein in wheat, called gluten, is highly allergenic and difficult for the body to break down, absorb, and assimilate. No matter what the cause of your chronic fatigue, if the symptoms are severe, you should probably eliminate wheat from your diet, at least in the early stages of recovery.' --Susan M. Clark, MD, Chronic Fatigue Self Help Book ..2) CELIAC DISEASE:..'Dietary cereal grains are the known environmental causative agent for at least two autoimmune diseases: celiac disease and dermatitis herpetiformis.' -Loren Cordain, PhD ..3) Wheat addiction:..Wheat cereals like Kellogg's Frosted Mini Wheats contain gluten. Gluten contains 5 distinct opioid (exorphin) sequences. Opioids are what make opium, morphine and codeine addictive. (See Fukudome below.) ..4) ENDOMETRIOSIS..'I find that when I've taken wheat out of the diet, in 80% of the women with endometriosis, their pain subsides.' -- Diane Shepperson Mills, Cert Ed BA DipION, Certified Nutritionist ..5) CANCER:..Some processed cereals like Frosted Mini Wheats have been found to contain acrylamides when tested. Clark University research professor Dale Hattis, an expert in risk analysis, stated: 'I estimate that acrylamide causes several thousand cancers per year in Americans.' --SOURCES AND REFERENCES FOR FURTHER INFORMATION:-- ..
