I am disappointed that Kellogg would misrepresent study finding to the degree that they did. Misreporting of research might: 1) cause consumers to make decisions affecting their health on the basis of false information and 2) reduce consumer confidence in the reliability of published research findings causing them to fail to make health decisions in accordance with good evidence. As a result, I believe that the consequences for such actions should be increased in the interests of public health.
