I was mislead by a Volkswagen Dealership in Lithia Springs Georgia in 2008 that by trading in my Chevy Avalanche I would only need to drive a Volkswagen Passat for two years before I could trade it in. They advise me by taking an 84 month loan it would keep my payments low and allow my trade in to go through smoother. Well it is 2011 now and after purchasing the 2008 Passat in May of 2008 no one and I do mean no one will allow me to trade this car in. I am upside down literally $16,000 and I am stuck in this small high maintenance car without a warranty at 85,000 miles. Why don't I have a warranty well the dealer advised me to cancel the warranty to assist with the trade in; however, now the very same dealer couldn't even help me trade in the car like they said they would advising me to even get close to a trade in that I would need $5000.00 dollars cash. Wow, the management has changed since and it seems as the new sales manager has some morals about himself but as you can guess I am still stuck in the up side down mechanics dream!!!
