P2P is an easy way to aid in the download of a large file from a single server with a limited budget for downloads. This helps programmers who do not wish to charge for there software distribute it without going bankrupt. The use of P2P networks for illegally sharing files is a problem but the use of a P2P network is not inherantly illegal, please keep it that was. Us opensource people depend on them.
