The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) respectfully submits the following recent ANSI IP position papers to the FTC for its consideration in preparing for the Workshop and the subsequent Report: - ANSI’s Response to the Federal Register Notice seeking information on government participation in standards and conformity assessment activities, submitted March 4, 2011; - ANSI’s Contribution to the GSC-15 meeting for IPR WG Agenda item 5, dated August 12, 2010; - ANSI Comments to the European Commission, directorate-General for Competition, in response to Public Consultation on proposed Guidelines for the assessment of horizontal cooperation agreements under EU competition law, dated June 24, 2010; and - ANSI’s Contribution responding to OECD’s Invitation for Written Submissions Relating to the OECD Roundtable Discussion on Standard Setting on June 14, 2010.
