I am pleased to provide a further comment in response to the "Request for Comments and Announcement of Workshop on Standard Setting Issues - Project No. P111204". I am writing as a scholar with a significant interest in standard setting processes, which are at the core of my academic research. This document, which addresses part of the questions raised by the Federal Register Notice n. 76/93, represents a longer version of the brief comments posted last June on the FTC website of the standards forum (see file n. 24).
