To whom it may concern, I think the exclusive contracts, such as the one that Idexx has with MWI, prevent me from access to more affordable heartworm tests, lyme tests, medications, etc. This is unfair and an antitrust issue in every sense of the phrase. This prevents new generic companies from succeeding (such as Putney and others) and translates into me charging my clients more when they can hardly afford care as it is. Please put an end to this. Why am I paying double for a heartworm test when there is a better one on the market for half the price that I can't access? Best, Dave Smith, DVM, Diplomate ACVIM
