My primary concern with companies such as Pet Meds is where they get their medications from. If companies such as Merial will not sell directly to them, how can consumers be sure they aren't getting fake products from China? It also concerns me that Pet Meds is unlikely to discuss the advantages/disadvantages of each individual product and warn owners of any side effects, etc. I have no problem giving a prescription directly to the client, but I have a problem dealing with the pharmacies themselves. I've occasionally gotten 4 or 5 prescription verifications by FAX per day and that gets a little time consuming.
