I am own a single doctor small animal practice. If I am in surgery and a clinet comes in to get their medicine refilled or pick up more heartworm medication, I cannot stop what I am doing to write a perscription for something they entered my business to purchase. They wuold either have to wait, ot return later. This inconvience to the clinet and myself will dreate hardships on all partiers concerned, to the point of losiong business. I find it highly impractical. I have no problems with on line pharmacies such as Pet-Med-Express, or writing a prescription to a local pharmacy when I am available, but it will be impossible to stop what I am doing, whether in a surgical procedure or with a client who made an appointment. This would be dadngerous or very unprofessional.
