Pet Medications Workshop, Project No. P12–1201 and HB 1406 will place undue burdon on veterinarians and their staff. Almost all veterinarians will give a written prescription to a client to fill elsewhaere, if asked. Most do that if the medication is available for less cost to the client. Making an it mandatory to give a written prescription will create confusion, poor compliance, abuse, and a waste of time for all concerned. The government should stay out of the business world.
