HR 1406 is unnecessarily burdensome to vets like myself who has practiced 27 years - we already willingly write prescriptions when clients ask - we are trying to foster a favorable economic climate in the Unites States to make it easier for small businesses (as almost all veterinary practices are) & this proposed legislation is totally counterproductive in that regard. medically, it may not be in the pet or animals best health interest in that there may be an unnecessary delay in acquiring the medication. OBVIOUSLY THERE ARE CORPORATE GROUPS SUCH AS WALMART THAT HAVE PUSHED THE CONGRESSMAN IN QUESTION TO PUSH FOR THIS LEGISLATION BECAUSE NO OTHER CONGRESSMAN WITH AN OUNCE OF COMMON SENSE IN TODAYS ECONOMIC ENVIRONMENT WOULD SPONSOR THIS.
