1. I believe that pet owners are already aware of their rights to fill prescriptions wherever they would like and already routinely ask for them. This law is excessive and redundant. 2. I also worry about owners getting duplicate prescriptions, one filled at the clinic and the second filled by a pharmacist elsewhere, as the DVM doesn't have access to pharmacy records elsewhere. 3. Will appropriate medication warnings and info be given out by the Pharmacy with specific information in regards to the specie it is prescribed for. 4. We do need some sort of regulation of all pharmacies in regards to pet medications that all the human pharmacy requirements are met. The manufacture and procurement of these drugs is safe and legal and that the pharmacists are trained appropriately to understand specie specific drug interactions and safety. Thank you for your time and consideration.
