Submission Text
It is unnecessary and excessive documentation to require a written presciption be provided as well as documentation detailing that the prescription can be filled elsewhere. When a written presciption is needed it is always provided, and filling prescriptions is common knowledge. Addition prescription regulation and record keeping as well as verification beyond the current legal requirements is both unnecessary and greatly increases time and effort, reducing time available to patients. I strongly oppose these proposed changes. Medical treatment quality will inevitably be deleteriously affected, and consumers will be more harmed than benefitted, including both costs and care.
