H.R.1406 ( Fairness to Pet Owners Act ) is redundant. Veterinarians are already required by their state board of regulators to provide prescriptions upon request from their clients. The unnecessary time and paperwork involved to comply with this bill would mean less time for animal care and greater costs to clients. Animals will not be the beneficiaries. Whose interests does H.R. 1406 serve ?
