Although I trust my veterinarian to be competent, caring and ethical, I do believe that I have the right to buy the medications he/she recommends wherever I choose that is most cost effective, and that having access to a written prescription, along with information on a drug's quality, effectiveness, side effects etc from a veterinarian I trust who knows my pet is critical.
