Requiring a duplicate written prescription when a medication has already been dispensed or when the client prefers to get the medication at the veterinary office is not just redundant - it is clearly dangerous. Pricing issues would be better addressed by allowing small businesses to receive the same purchasing price discounts as their larger competitors so that they could then match those prices.
