Submission Text
I am respectfully asking the FTC to withdraw the agreement concerning Four Loco, the very name of which is appealing to youth. Changing the label to say it contains more than one serving means nothing; the soft drinks in similar containers with resealable caps are consumed all at once, and so will these alcoholic beverages. Even if consumed by legal adults, this still ignores the federal standards of one alcoholic serving per day for women and two for men. A 23.5 ounce container of sweetened alcoholic beverage just encourages young people to drink more, endangering not only their health, but the lives of others around them should they then choose to drive.
