We need to side on the side of privacy in way possible. We need to go back to the time tested way of collecting enough information to only. There is no need for someone to give up their SS# to get a hunting licease or cash a check at wal mart. This has got to stop if anyone hopes to stop identity theft. Theres to much information required to do anything when its truely not needed to complete a transaction. So please Actually protect privacy of citizens now known as consumers. Protect privacy by requireing min. amount of data.
