Comments:The college I attend forces me to use my social security number as a username to sign in to view important information regarding my education. My social security number is something that I try to avoid using whenever possible, and it seems because of the importance of this number, groups should be prevented from forcing users to use it as a form of sign-in. Using it once as a form of verification is fine, but everytime I have to enter it online I risk having it compromised. It's only use should be limited to one-time verification. The school I attend that requires it is the University of New Hampshire in Durham, NH.
