While strict rules governing social numbers is a good thing it can like in my case cause fugitives and abductors to go free. I generally onlt take cases of abducted children and murder cases. Most of these I end up doing for free, especailly the children. Many of these families can not afford a PI and police often fail thier needs. It is CRITICAL that I can access social numbers and or credit header information ( NOT CREDIT INFO OR SCORES) but basic header. This allows me to locate witnesses, and other people that I need to interview about the child abduction case. I have and I have seen cases solved with just this inforamtion. I agree that my agency and other PI's MUST not release this info to people but only in our strict businees to solve a case for our internal review only. BUT cost also comes into play where I was able to access these for about 0.25 to 1.00 now they are costing me 3.50 or more and access fees. This can cost a child dearly when I must look at my costs. Please make careful review of these facts before deciding anythind, I have enclosed an email if you would additional facts. Thank you
