It is hard to believe that the FTC does not consider Wal-Mart a grocer. More than half of their sales are driven by grocery sales. When is the FTC going to consider them a grocer? Ask any super-market operator who they fear and their answer would be Wal-Mart. There are two new Super Centers opening in Cortland and Ithaca and youre worried about Tops having a competitive edge? The FTC needs to come into the 21st century and realize what is going on in the landscape of America's retailers.
