I am severely disappointed in the ruling that Tops will have to sell it's grocery store in the Riverside Plaza in Cortland. It is the only full line grocery store that services this end of the city. Not to mention the neighboring towns that are east and north of Cortland (Truxton, East Homer, McGraw, Polkville, etc). Plus, the other P&C (Tops) on Homer Ave closed as a result of the bankruptcy. Meanwhile on the south side of the city, we are forced to watch another Wal-Mart pop up. Do we not have enough of them? And its a super center no less. This will mark the 4th grocery store on that end of town (Tops, Price Chopper, Wal-Mart and Aldis). Please reverse this unjustice and allow Tops to keep the Riverside store open. It's the one consensus you can get out of the public yet the gov't steps in and blocks this. Unbelievable.
